Organization as Self-Care: Creating Calm and Intentional Spaces - Thoughts from a Professional Organizer

As we ease into a new year, there’s always a lot of noise about “new year, new you.”   For some people, that energy is motivating. For others, the pressure feels overwhelming or unrealistic.  Most of the clients I work with fall somewhere in the middle—they want to prioritize themselves, but they don’t necessarily want to overhaul their entire life to do it. They want small and steady steps in the right direction.  The good news? Self-care doesn’t have to look like a big transformation. Sometimes it’s as simple as creating a home that supports who you already are.
